Create PSA aimed to reach other teens about the dangers of drug use.
Due March 28th, 2017 - The DEA and Discovery Education have joined forces to combat a growing epidemic of prescription opioid misuse and heroin use nationwide. Operation Prevention's mission is to educate students about the true impacts of opioids and kick-start lifesaving conversations in the home and classroom.
Prescription opioid misuse and heroin use have reached epidemic levels. But you can change that. Students have the power to send a message to their peers about the dangers of prescription opioid misuse by creating a 30-60 second original Public Service Announcement.
Approach your video submission as your chance to find a message that would resonate with you and your peers. If your friends—and teens throughout the United States—were going to watch ONE video that made them think twice about making bad decisions with prescription opioids, what would that video be?
